The success of our non-profit rescue and our ability to help dogs in need is a direct result of the generosity of everyday people like you! We depend entirely on donations and various fundraising programs to meet the needs of the dogs in our care. Safe Hounds Beagle Rescue does not receive any local, State, or Federal subsidies or funding of any kind. We don't receive any money from large national animal welfare organizations such as the ASPCA or Humane Society of the United States. We are an all-volunteer dog rescue. What exactly does that mean? It means that our Board members and Officers volunteer their time and energy without financial compensation. It also means there are no employee salaries, payroll taxes, health benefits, pension funds or related expenses to pay. And we never use paid professional fundraisers either. Why does any of this matter? By eliminating as many overhead expenses as possible, we can make the most of the donations we receive so more of your hard-earned money directly benefits the dogs in our care and enables us to carry out our good work saving homeless dogs.

Some donated items may be auctioned or sold through our eBay and Amazon.com fundraising programs with 100% of the proceeds from these sales going toward expenses such as veterinary care, food and supplies for the dogs in our foster program. We are happy to provide you with a tax receipt for your records, upon request.
